What a busy week, Romans, Charities, Blog Con and the Legendary Curt.

Phew!
What a busy week.
So much stuff on my workbench, I really don't know where to start at the moment.
Thursdays Gaming was EPIC.
Scenario Two from the "HC" Britannia book, the assault on Cadbury castle.
Andy has very kindly blogged this and can be read Here at the Great Hall.
Can I also draw your attention to a very worthy cause that has been highlighted by fellow blogger Ian, "Blog with no Name"
Please Read This and help out if you can.

This Saturday saw me hitch along with Loki as we headed up to York.
Blog Con 2014 at the York Air Museum.
WOW...!
What a great day.
Considering that most of the bloggers there had not seen each other for a while, (yeah I know we banter on here and Facebook), it was like old chums getting together again.
Jeeze, did we have a laugh.
The Museum itself is worth a visit.
I did manage a few pics on the day.

Great venue, well done Dave D for sorting this lot out.

Then there was the mayhem indoors.
first up was a game of "Blazing Dice".A wild west shoot the hell outa everything game.
Set in the western town of Serenity, where anything is possible.
What a game.
We had it all, haha.
Tough as nails Mounties, Lawmen, Pinkertons, Daltons, Preachers and of course Gary Amos as the legendary "Stumpy", pmsl.....

A typical day in Serenity
This was hillarious and I'll let Loki blog this adventure as he played a fairly prominent part in it.
Below is Gary, preparing to fill, hehe, the part of Stumpy.

A sneak peak below of our guest of honour chatting with Dave D .

Then we all gathered once again for a WW1 Trench raid.
This was great fun too and looked fantastic.
The rules used were the Lardies, "Through the Mud and the Blood".
Very good they were to and the game looked awsome for the small size needed to play.

And finally,
Our guest of honour.

It was my privilege to meet Mr Curt C, Fellow Blogger and Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge Organiser.
All the way from Canada.
He popped in for the day, taking time out from his European tour.
It was great to meet him at last and thankyou for the Naps command base Curt.
It will have pride of place in my French army.
I just want to say a big thanks to all who came along and made the day.
I aint laughed so much in a long time.

  2. Wish I'd read the card for 'Stumpy' before I volunteered to it. Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo! Next time . . . . .
